Beaconsfield Now 6 May 2017 11am to 2 pm : Beaconsfield Rugby Club, Windsor End

For more than twenty years the Beaconsfield Society has run an annual event bringing together local charities and not-for- profit organisations in order to showcase their work and recruit members and volunteers. It is designed to attract all age groups.  Up to now, it has been held on the Town Hall Green but this year The Rugby Club has  agreed to join with us to provide a venue, entertainment, and better facilities and parking. We hope you will be able to join us to make 2017 a success.

We will have a bouncy castle,  a petting zoo,  train rides,  school choirs and music groups, a maypole, drama presentations and you name it, we’ll probably have it. The Fire Brigade will be bringing a tender and will allow the older kids to go on board.  The Scouts and Guides will be providing refreshments and the Rugby Club bar will be open.

Locals of all ages are catered for by our various organisations. Education, Sports, Theatre, Amenity groups and Charities are represented.

The day will be opened by Ann Tennant, our ‘Citizen of the Year’  alongside the Mayor and our inimitable Town Crier, Dick Smith. Dominic Grieve is expected to attend and we ensure a strong presence of the local media.

Come along and join in the fun.
